Lianne Carbone

Lianne Carbone
Owner and MA Hearing Instrument Specialist #192

Lianne Carbone, the owner of SIMPLY HEARING has been working at something since the age of 14.   Social Work was her first love so she got her BSW at Eastern Nazarene College in 1978. It wasn’t long before she realized a second love, business. In 1983 she started a sales career in the Ocean Cargo Industry, living in Savannah, Chicago, St. Louis and Natick, covering large territories, before moving to Falmouth in 1999.   Until 2002 she traveled off cape for business, but that year left “the road” to be close to home and her three kids (now grown, having all graduated from Falmouth High School).   She worked at Head Start and became a foster parent.   In 2004 she “fell into” the Hearing Instrument business.   It was perfect:  the warmth of contact with people, running a business, problem solving, and being local!   She got her MA Hearing Instrument Specialist license in 2005. When the opportunity to be an owner presented itself, it seemed exactly right and so it happened on August 2, 2010 that she purchased the existing Falmouth office of Harborside Hearing. She loves the town of Falmouth and being part of the business and social community here.  The life-long dream of making our social systems better for families and children has not gone away though.   We can chat about that when you come in too!

Stephanie Henry
Receptionist/Care Coordinator

Stephanie moved to Falmouth when she was 5 years old, so this is pretty much home. She has been married to Richard for 25 years and has two grown children. She has kept busy by being a town meeting member, volunteering for Birthright, working out(!) and is very active in her church.

After working in the public school kitchen for 8 years while her children were going to school, she had the opportunity to return to the work she loves, Customer Service and Administration. Simply Hearing allows her to do just that.

When you walk in, you'll see her at the door. When you call, she'll answer and get you what you need in the most pleasant way you can imagine. Come on in and say hello!

Jessica Soccio Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology #1108

Dr. Jessica Soccio is from Cranston, RI.    She received her Doctorate in Audiology from Nova Southeastern University in 2016, and her Bachelors of Science from the University of Rhode Island in 2012.  She and Lianne were brought together by a source in the industry, knowing they’d make a great team and were a match on what each was looking for.  She started one-two days a week in the summer of 2016 and full time in September 2016.
The satisfaction that comes from working with people and the desire to help improve the lives of others is why Dr. Soccio loves being an audiologist.  She finds it extremely gratifying to facilitate the journey of improved hearing and balance for individuals. After completing several internships in different clinical settings, Dr. Soccio knew private practice was the optimal environment for her.  “The ability to build strong connections with patients can only be achieved in a private practice and Simply Hearing is the perfect setting.  Living by the beach is just icing on the cake.”
